It will be a chance to put all our tutorials into action. We will have some cameras available. So bring cameras. Afterwards we will be going for refreshments. See you there guys.

Where? UCC West Wing 5
When? 6pm Wednesday 26th of February
Attend the event on Facebook!
This Wednesday we will be having guest speaker Samantha Conlon, film photographer, give a talk on the ins and outs of film photography from camera to dark room while showing us her own work. We will also be bringing you down to the dark room showing you the equipment in the Connolly Building.
It will be on this Wednesday at 6pm in the West Wing 5 and will be bringing ye down to the connolly building after the presentation. Afterwards we will have drinks in a venue to be confirmed.
N.B- As the darkroom has no ventilation system we may not be allowed to actually use the equipment but we can show you exactly what the apparatus does.
We had the Applying Photographic Techniques meeting today and sadly it was raining really heavily ( Not good for cameras! ) so we decided to stay indoors, We took photos of the Stones and statues that UCC have in the West Wing building.
It was fun and nice to put some of the techniques to work, If you couldn’t make it we hope to see you next week!

We have collaborated with the UCC Environmental Society. The theme is Campus Nature so we’re looking for photos taken on or near campus. Remember they should in some way or form relate to the Campus nature and the environment. Have all entries sent in by the 1st of March by 12pm.
The prizes should be great (last year the prizes included a bicycle). So enter guys!! Good luck.
Applying Photographic Techniques.
Nightime photography and panning.
Time: 6pm
Where? WW5(Then into Cork!)
Details:
Next week we’ll be attempting night time photography and panning to name a few. We will be going down to the city centre taking photographs. We will have tripods available and DSLR’s to use, so everyone can familiarize themselves with how to use them.
So we’ll meet at West Wing 5 and we’ll lead the way from there. So remember to bring your cameras with you and whatever relevant equipment you need including warm clothes if weather doesn’t permit.
OK, you’re gonna’ have to be a bit patient, We’re trying to get the site more user friendly and easier for us to add content to it! For the moment, there isn’t much going on here but do check back soon and it should be looking much better!
